Will you be the one who’s gonna help save Amit?

Or, in the process, save the life of someone else?

Please register for National Marrow Donor program. Amit Gupta, SF resident and entrepreneur, created Photojojo, the awesome photography blog-newsletter-store that inspires creativity. And Amit has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant.

Photojojo is great. I’ve been a fan since forever and was so thrilled to come on board as a product photographer. I only recently started contracting with PJJ, creating product shots for their store, like the awesome vintage Polaroid Land Camera. I met Amit briefly when I interviewed. And although I didn’t get a chance to talk with him for more than a moment, he was very welcoming and nice to me. He gives off a good energy. People love him and are willing to go to great lengths to help him out:

Seth Godin is offering $10,000 to the person who matches and donates.

Virgin American gave him a plane ticket.

The whole Bay Area tech community is rallying for Amit.

NY is hosting a cheek-swabbing party for Amit.

And now I want to ask you all to register (if you haven’t already). It’s free, it’s easy. It’s even kinda fun to swab your cheek.

And who knows? Perhaps you will be the one to save a life.
