Business Cards by Moo

I received my business cards in the mail the other day. I ordered them from Moo, which is a fun and easy-to-use printing company that lets you use your already uploaded images on flickr, facebook, smugmug, picasa, even etsy. You can also upload from your computer or use moo’s predesigned images. I pulled about 50 flickr images to use on my cards. The satin finish on the cardstock makes it fancy!

Here’s the backside with my basic contact info.

The mini-moo cards make it easy to show off a nice variety of my pics. It makes passing out business cards fun since each person can decide which image they want. I have to admit, I already had some moo cards, but I foolishly didn’t proof the content close enough and let a typo pass by. Ugh. Any ideas on what to do with defunct business cards?

Just received an offer for some cards. I think once I have written my ‘About Me’ I’ll have an idea of what I want them to look like.

PS: Love the ‘often overlooked’ photos. You’re going to have to give me a lesson in how to take that kind of shot ;-)

Hi Denise, found your blog (I think..) in the comments section of the Digital Photography School post. I checked out many blogs from that list but only bookmarked a few.
I like it that your blog has great images but also some write up about them.
The shapes and patterns in the “overlooked images” sections are also a feast for the eye.
Also decided the get some Moo cards and are pretty happy about them, despite it being a bit of a pain to get some of my images fit that long aspect ratio..

Keep it up. Cheers from the land down under.

Thanks, Rob! I hear ya on the aspect ratio of those Moo cards. Tricky crop! I just took a look at your website. I like that your blog has a lot of behind the scenes descriptions, so helpful for people like me. You have quite a range of talent. Your use of light is great. The ice skating series is particularly lovely.

I see one I recognize! Love your Moo cards. For the old ones, you could create a collage in a big wooden frame.
